Re-contextualised and Misremembered

This ongoing process involves integrating various sonic and textual elements: field recordings from the canteen's afternoon clamour—voices, clattering dishes, the sounds of a museum in full operation—mingling with the eerie quiet of pandemic lockdown; the mechanical hum of building systems in emptied galleries, security radios crackling through vacant corridors. These field recordings from the museum, mingled with others from elsewhere, re-contextualized and misremembered, are brought into dialogue with the acoustic emissions recordings, sound walks from wanderings through institutional spaces, and the textual traces of the Activity Log itself.
